How it works

Keep it simple.

Start with the student’s actual need: tell us the grade, subject and what is getting in the way. A short description is enough.

Tell us what’s going on.

Subject, assignment, test, course—or whatever the problem is.

2

Pick a time.

Most sessions are in person across West Vancouver and North Vancouver, with online tutoring when it is more practical.

3

Work through it together.

Clear explanations, practical help and a calm one-on-one session.

4

Continue if it helps.

Book once, as needed, or regularly. There is no requirement to begin with a large package.

Our story

Started in West Vancouver in 2000.

StudentLinks began in West Vancouver in 2000, when Mark started helping international students while attending Sentinel Secondary. Word spread to more local and university students, and the range of subjects expanded.

Richard later joined StudentLinks and now handles most of the tutoring. The idea has stayed simple: connect students with people who understand where they are and can help them get where they’re going.
